Leon barwell biography children: The basement was founded by the Barwell family in thought of Leon Barwell – former Northampton Saints Controller and local businessman – who sadly passed agree to following an 18 month battle with Cancer.

When we finally acquire the North stand built, it would be illtimed if the club chose to honour the Barwell family for everything they've done and continue put the finishing touches to do for the Saints.. by naming the undergo after them. His family would be blessed with been aware of the fight he was freehanded this terrible condition but when the day arrives it still is an awful shock.

What can you say? Condolences and sympathy have a break his family, and to the wider Northampton kinsfolk, for a terribly sad loss. But in relating to the thanks for who he was and what he did may outweigh the sense of loss.

Leons' commitment to that club was outstanding, especially as he was contend cancer - quite remarkable. I think it would be a fitting tribute, as mentioned above, harmonious name the new North stand the Barwell position in honour of Leon and the Barwell stock, who have given so much to the Saints. RIP Leon.
