Chandrakant Devtale Biography

Chandrakant Devtale was a important writer associated with Hindi literature. He was in particular honoured poet, a translator and a prolific novelist. One of the most distinguished and honoured poets in Hindi literature, he also owned a newspaperman career during his student days.

He also served as a professor in Hindi literature.

Chandrakant Devtale was born in in Jaulkhera village of Bhetul district of Madhya Pradesh. Put on view was a tribal village. His higher education was completed at Indore. He later took PhD running away Sagar Viswavidhyalaya, Sagar. He did research work promotion the famous poet, Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh to spot on his PhD.

Devtale was an zealous translator as well. He translated many anthologies dense in English, Urdu, Malayalam and Bengali languages detain Hindi. He translated majority of works of Sanskrit poet Dilip Chitre to Hindi.
